159Design | Auckland’s newest trade destination

We are currently collaborating with twelve home furnishing showrooms to bring 159Design to life. An interiors destination with purpose, 159Design encourages strong relationships within the sector and allows designers to encounter new products in one convenient location. The opportunity to view tapware alongside tiles and drapes alongside rugs is certain, at the very least, to inspire.

The sustainability and longevity of products is important to James Dunlop Textiles. As we continue to trim our catalogue, we aim to sharpen our offering of textiles in timeless designs and quality constructions which fill gaps in the market, complementing our existing ranges and the living spaces of our customers. 

Carefully curated releases create a balanced portfolio and enable customers to make meaningful decisions easily, across fabric and wallpaper options with diverse product benefits. Refining our range is a process that we intend to maintain as technology develops and consumer needs evolve. We are confident that through the specialist curation of high-quality product we can encourage creativity.

Sitting within the design centre is our James Dunlop showroom, presented in a modern open-plan style and complete with the digital services we offer online. We have brought the digital selling environment, cultivated on the James Dunlop website, instore by developing our digital tools into a simplified showroom kiosk. 

This allows our extensive range to be searched, fabric-matched and visualised on curtains and furniture, all from our showroom floor with the technical advice of our experts. Once designers have narrowed their choice set, physical fabric samples can be loaned out or you can walk across the room to discuss the specifications with a manufacturer.

159Design is just one of several fantastic interior design spaces in Auckland. At James Dunlop Textiles we seek to provide a great interior furnishing destination for the trade, while also making it easier to do business with us through digital tools and great service.

We are experimenting with new ideas in this space and our showroom experience will continue to evolve alongside the society and culture around us. In the meantime, please visit our new Auckland showroom at 159Design.
