Due to technological advancements, the latest outdoor textiles achieve a more natural appearance, softer handle, and finer construction than ever before. This improves the flexibility of application, enabling outdoor textiles to work seamlessly in both indoor and outdoor spaces where the fabric is subjected to direct sunlight and heavy usage.

Our outdoor fabrics are primarily woven with solution dyed olefin/polyolefin/polypropylene which give the best possible resistance against colour fading from direct UV exposure. The production of these yarns is generally environmentally friendly, being recyclable and resulting in minimal waste.

Excellent colour fastness and resistance to fading
Fast drying
Highly stain and soil resistant
It is a strong fibre and has excellent abrasion resistance
Resistant to fading and mildew
Resistant to mildew and chemicals, making it easy to clean

As well as UV resistance, many of our outdoor textiles offer high performance aspects such as soil and stain resistance, mildew resistance, high abrasion results and fire retardancy along with the added value of being machine washable. This ensures they are suitable for both high performance residential and commercial applications.

When upholstering for the outdoors, it is important to use outdoor reticulated foam which allows water to reticulate or drain away ensuring the cushions dry quickly and maintain their shape, comfort and durability. They come in three densities – soft, medium and firm. When outdoor reticulated foam is combined with quality high performance fabrics and manufactured using a mesh base, the furniture’s cushions will dry out easily and effectively and thus provide comfort and superior performance for years to come.
