Okazaki - the Japanese word for lord. In the 15th century, many Samurai war lords were centred around Okazaki palace. The samurai are famed for the strength, and beauty of their hand crafted weaponry and the skill in which they used them. The design which is printed on this linen base cloth, reflects the Japanese aesthetic of balance and nature. Pattern Repeat varies from roll to roll due to specialised finishing.
