Inspired by the Ukiyo movement, the design reflects the fleeting nature of life and focuses on the gardens of the Adachi museum. This design centres on the impression created by the landscape, without seeking its reality. It is a shifting beauty, that of a Japanese garden whose appearance changes with the passing hours, days and seasons glistening in the sunlight. Casamance translates this onto a base suggesting the delicacy of silk, applied to a metallic foil. The contours of the Adachi garden, its ponds and vegetation are life-size. With subtle transparencies, the metallic highlights recall the brightness of the Sun. ADACHI is produced as a large panel (4.8 metres in width) and is endlessly matchable. It is available in two colors: bronze/navy and sand/opaline.
