Gathered Café, Footscray, Melbourne

With generous seating for 90 people, the café serves up European-influenced dishes for breakfast and lunch. The design was a collaborative effort between the owners and architects Ewert & Leaf. Featuring timber, touches of leather and an abundance of Shoji linen-look drapery (Mokum, colour Mist) covering the large steel windows. The organic aesthetic of the fabric balances the industrial elements of the space. An exquisite fit-out making it the go-to café in Footscray.
