Since making its debut in South Yarra in 2014, Entrecôte has offered diners old-world Parisian charm and traditional French cuisine. In 2021, the restaurant relocated to an expansive space on Prahran’s Greville Street, complete with a terrace garden.
Inspired by Parisian institutions Hôtel Costes and Ralph’s, interior designer Brahman Perera collaborated with his partner and restauranteur, James Jones, to bring a slice of Paris to Prahran.
Entering amongst the timber windows, scalloped blue and white striped awnings, and French bistro chairs, guests are greeted by a decorative mosaic tiled floor and waitstaff in crisp black and white attire.
From the brasserie to the dining rooms, banquettes, chairs, and stools are upholstered in Zepel’s signature 100% cotton Lux Velvet in colours Gold and Blue.
Luxurious to touch with a subtle, textured pile, our performance upholstery is at home amongst the antique French Oak panelling, hand-painted tablecloths, and the soft glow suffused by crystal chandeliers and custom Brahman Perera lamps.
