Having remodelled a previous property together, the client approached Kim Scodro Interiors to transform their home in Scottsdale, Arizona, into one fit for herself and her two children.
Seeking to create a happy and colourful home with a traditional aesthetic, the design incorporated bright hues and bold pattern choices reflective of each of the family’s personalities.
Between the master bathroom and wardrobe sits the client’s dressing room, where the ceiling and walls are tented with our ethereal Ombre colour Blush by Mokum. “We selected the ombre pink to add depth of colour while sticking to a calm and monochromatic colour scheme,” explains Kim Scodro, “we really wanted the Mokum fabric to be the star of the show in this space.”
“We intended for the space to feel cosy, yet weightless … The sheer was the perfect fabric selection due to the light and airy weight in this smaller space.”
Mokum's Ombre is finished with corded welting, tassels, and decorative rosettes in soft shade of cream by Samuel and Sons, and a flush lighting fixture by Hinkley Lighting.
