After living in their home for six years, the client enlisted the expertise of Bloom Interior Design & Decoration to create a timeless interior that would continue to meet the needs of their growing family.
Located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, the post-Edwardian bungalow’s traditional scheme grew from the client’s desire for a home that nodded to the Hamptons with a sense of contemporary elegance. The classic colour palette of soft grey, blue, mauve, and fresh white work together to create a semi-formal interior which expresses both femininity and romance.
Our watercolour design Victoria by James Dunlop was selected for the formal sitting room. “Situated along the hall this was a room where we wanted to make a statement,” says Terri Shannon, Director of Bloom Interior Design & Decoration. Featuring an English rose in full bloom “Victoria felt like the right choice for such an important room in the home.”
