The Australian owners of this decade-old barn-style spec home in Oklahoma, United States, approached Greg Natale to season their space with his eponymous Studio’s signature allure.
“They wanted the home to draw inspiration from the surrounding rural landscape and Oklahoma’s rich history, which is known for the Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum and for hosting the annual Red Earth Native American cultural festival, all while taking on a more maximalist expression with European influences,” explains Greg.
The 660-square-foot extension nods to the Ralph Lauren and Navajo influences prominent in the original part of the home, whilst animal prints, florals, and geometrics combine for maximalist effect – using layers of pattern-on-pattern to build tension within the space.
