As one of the oldest homes in Auckland’s Ponsonby, this grand residence with its colourful past, is now home to an entrepreneurial couple and their children.
Undergoing a six-month renovation, Olivia Moon (owner of Nodi Rugs) and her husband Jeremy, restored the stately home resulting in a refreshed modern interior.
All interior finishing’s were selected by the couple with the architectural design and layout being contributed by Barbara Webster including specific kitchen and bathroom designs.
In terms of the overall creative vision Olivia said “I didn’t have a set inspiration or mood board per say, I just wanted to create a warm, welcoming home that I could relax in and enjoy with my family and friends - this really dictated a lot of the decisions. Owning a rug company means I see things from the ground up when renovating, so the rug selections led the way for the general feel of our home.”
