Embracing digital technology with Molmic

In the ever-evolving realm of design, technology has taken centre stage in shaping the way customers experience products and services. However, staying at the forefront of innovation requires an openness to change and as online shopping becomes the primary touchpoint for customers, providing a dynamic online experience has never been more important.

We spoke to Amanda Dymond from Molmic, an Australian furniture manufacturer who have digitised 80% of their product offering, about the addition of our Visualiser tool to their website.

How has the Furniture Visualiser influenced customer engagement with the Molmic website?

We’ve received a positive response from our customers and noticed an increase in their engagement both in-store and online since integrating the Visualiser into our website and email marketing campaigns.

Selecting a new piece of furniture is an investment and can feel overwhelming. By enabling our customers to preview furniture options in a variety of fabrics we have found an opportunity to boost their confidence throughout the decision-making process.

What do digital fabric twins offer your customers?

The digital twins capture the fine details of various fabric textures, helping our customers to imagine how materials will translate in real life beyond the limitations of traditional fabric swatches.

Have these 3D digital renders met your expectations?

The renders mimic the light, shadows, and textures to present our products with an almost lifelike quality which really exceeded our expectations. While working with the team from James Dunlop we witnessed their attention-to-detail during the review process which was crucial to achieving the final result.

Molmic’s utilisation of the Furniture Visualiser reflects the potential of embracing cutting-edge digital tools to enhance customer engagement, elevate decision-making, and create immersive shopping experiences.
