Collected Works by Mokum

Tactile appeal in expansive and expressive colours

Illustrating Mokum’s commitment to sophisticated design and quality, Collected Works introduces tactile appeal in expansive and expressive colours.

Luxurious new upholstery and drapery designs include fil coupé and outdoor sheers, and a dimensional geometric weave designed with an innately modern sensibility. Our coveted multipurpose linen plain is presented in a refreshed palette, encouraging the layering of classic patterns and textures with the greater Mokum range.

Celebrating the beauty of natural fibres and premium high-performance yarns, Collected Works uses the interplay of materials to create a dialogue between indoor and outdoor environments where a natural aesthetic brings tactility, comfort, and privacy.

“This collection is about celebrating the beauty of layering through simplicity and quality. We are focused on creating innately modern plains and selected patterns with tactile appeal, to offer interior designer’s tools for creating luxury interior spaces which deliver comfort and privacy.

“Our abundance of plain textiles, our love of natural fibres, our need for high-performance fabrics which look natural, and our unique colour palette very much represent how we live in Australasia.”

- Stephanie Moffitt, Mokum Design Director

Epitome

Sophisticated and understated, Epitome showcases the true beauty of natural linen fibre and Italian craftsmanship. Heavy-weight linen yarns are blended with nylon for enhanced durability, producing the heaviest linen textile within the Mokum range. Custom coloured to reflect our surrounding landscapes, a refined palette of bronze, burnt orange, moss, ink, and chocolate brown sit alongside elegant neutrals, further enhancing the natural lustre of linen.

Ottica

Our statement geometric takes inspiration from the graphic 1960s optical art movement. Simplified and softened by the curved linework of the repeat and dimensional yarns, Ottica is woven in Italy in careful pairings of pumice, oxide, bronze, and moss. Coordinating harmoniously with our array of Italian upholsteries – notably Epitome, Alpaca Velvet, Modernist, and Bespoke – Ottica adds interest to layered interiors.

Eternal

In an energetic palette and high-quality composition, Eternal is an everlasting Mokum classic. Artisan finishing provides a tumbled handle and antique surface interest to our multipurpose, piece-dyed, pure linen plain. Fresh and earthen neutrals ground the revitalised palette of 33 colours. 15 expressive new mid-tones and trend infused shades reference our Modern Art collection, whilst coastal blues, Pacific soaked teals, and immersive greens offer insight into our future direction.

Gesso Lino

Gesso Lino, our latest lightweight pure linen cloth, is a wide-width drapery woven with a contrasting ecru warp yarn to create a shot effect on the surface and enhance the natural lustre of the linen. Woven continuously in a palette of warm and cool tones, Gesso Lino plays with light and shade as the day passes through the frame in residential interior spaces.

Sardinia

Woven in solution dyed acrylic, Sardinia is an indoor-outdoor sheer which replicates the natural aesthetic and softness of pure linen through bespoke finishing. Tonal shifts of melange yarns complement sea-sprayed neutrals, sky and ocean blues, warm sand tones, and a sun-baked basalt. Sardinia is UV resilient, bleach cleanable, salt, mould, and stain resistant and woven continuously for seamless application.

“Our abundance of plain textiles, our love of natural fibres, our need for high-performance fabrics which look natural, and our unique colour palette very much represent how we live in Australasia.”
