Botanical bliss

We must admit, this trend is growing on us!

Nurturing the garden provides a therapeutic escape from our busy lives. Nature is increasingly entering our homes in the form of house plants as we express our desire for greenery and nature to play a role in our living and workspaces. Interior gardens, plant holders, green walls, innovative hanging plants, and small pot plants in addition to textiles all encourage a sense of balance, well-being, and harmony.

Our range encompasses botanicals of all styles and scales from abstract hand drawn outlines of petals and leaves to the most intricate of prints across fabrics and wallpapers; inviting positive energy whether your style is minimalist, maximalist, or somewhere in between.

So, with an affinity for tranquility in our spaces and the theme of visual optimism still at the heart of our designs, explore our range of verdant textiles and prepare yourself for botanical bliss.

Magnolia Grandiflora by Mokum

Symbolizing nobility, beauty, purity, and a love of nature, Mokum’s Magnolia design has been reimagined as a continuous print. Hand painted in water colour, Magnolia Grandiflora is digitally printed onto our pure linen Satori Stonewash base cloth and further enhanced by stonewashing.

Cordia by Mokum

Cordia reimagines tropical foliage in an elevated expression of paradise for the modern interior. A collage of leaves unfurls across the natural linen base cloth, combining crewel chain stitching with a dynamic interplay of matte and lustrous yarns to create depth and tactility. Two rich colourways bring artisanal texture to drapery and accessories. Raffia captures the warm island glow in soft blush, warm gold, and terracotta tones, punctuated by burgundy on a barely-there pink base. Lagoon, by contrast, channels cool, coastal serenity, melding foliage greens with sky blue and ocean teal atop a pumice-hued ground.

Toile de Jouy by James Dunlop

In our contemporary composition of this classic print style, modern floral motifs and delicate linework deliver a sense of nostalgia for residential schemes that aim to marry the old with the new. Printed in the United Kingdom onto a soft linen base cloth, Toile de Jouy has been custom coloured in five timeless hues to adorn modern or heritage homes.

Lotus by Mokum

Giant rhythmic waterlily leaves and lotus flowers have been carefully hand-painted and arranged in this contemporary drapery print. Whimsy is added via the inclusion of playful dragon flies, inspired by Japanese depictions of waterlily paintings, typically featuring these exquisite insects. The grand waterlily leaves are tinted in deep mineral greens and blues, rendered in watercolour effects, and mixed with soft green or blush pink depending on your colour choice. Lotus has been digitally printed onto a 100% linen base cloth then tumbled to create an elegant soft drape.

Charleston by James Dunlop

Charleston nods to the Bloomsbury artists’ decorative painterly style, bringing to life a whimsical garden scene inspired by Charleston House and Gardens. Composed of gestural botanical motifs embedded in abstract brushstrokes, Charleston invites a joyful energy to residential spaces. The essence of the artist’s original hand painting and sketch-like quality is replicated through screen printing in the UK on to a soft cotton linen drapery textile. Charleston offers three custom colourways; pastel hues of a spring garden meadow, an earthen palette of ginger, tobacco, and ochre, complete with a mineral combination of indigo blues set within grounding neutrals.

Lilium by James Dunlop

An abstract interpretation of the lily flower in full bloom. Screen printed onto a natural linen blend basecloth to capture the irregular linework and gestural inks of traditional woodblock printing. Suitable for drapery and light duty upholstery, Lilium will infuse a botanical element to residential schemes in three fresh colourways. Hues of golden saffron, sky blue, and thyme green are balanced by accents of ochre and blush, Lilium was developed in the James Dunlop Studio and printed in the UK.

Botanist by James Dunlop

Botanist depicts a reverence for the beauty of botany. Referencing the artistic skill and intricate detail found in traditional botanical illustrations, abundant floral and fruit orchards are modernized through scale and contemporary colour. Screen printed in the UK onto a linen blend basecloth, Botanist is suitable for both drapery and light duty upholstery. Available in three decadent colourways, Botanist is the perfect print to infuse a sense of modern nostalgia into residential schemes.

Sakura by James Dunlop

Hand-painted in the UK and printed at one of the oldest printing mills in the world, Sakura is a timeless addition to the James Dunlop print oeuvre. Capturing the elegance of nature, Sakura reimagines a traditional chinoiserie of twisting branches adorned with cherry blossoms and blushing peony motifs, accented by delicately painted birds who gently bring the outside in. Custom coloured in the James Dunlop studio in three fresh colourways and digitally printed onto 100% linen with a classic hand feel, Sakura will infuse interior spaces with a calming sense of nature.
