LANDSCAPE / Captured in Arrowtown, Queenstown, New Zealand
Featuring a double cloth construction with intricate binding, Element is a heavy, complex semi sheer which delivers accessible luxury.
New Zealand boasts an abundance of breathtaking coastal vistas and rugged alpine topography. Nestled within reach of these revered settings lay remarkable homes which authentically connect their interiors to the land.
The Homestead collection was photographed at an award winning home by RTA Studio Architects in Arrowtown, a short drive from Queenstown in New Zealand’s South Island.
Timeless textures lay the canvas on which landscape vistas can be appreciated as artwork within a space.
Element has been carefully crafted to evoke a sense of warmth, movement and comfort at the window.
Scandinese is inspired by the ‘Scandi’ or ‘Japandi’ design movements, pulling reference from both Scandinavian and Japanese design with their shared appreciation of minimalism, craftsmanship, form, and function.
Volcanic neutrals, warms shades of tussock and snow-capped mountains, sun baked clay and burnt orange sit alongside mineral blues and greens referencing New Zealand’s dense forest.
Nature informs this highly curated palette of warm neutrals and grounding greys.
With its dense curled pile, Fleece offers a sense of comfort perfectly suited to curvaceous furniture, where one can cocoon within the home.
Responding to the market's love affair with boucle, Alpine offers an accessible boucle solution that is both trend driven and highly practical.
With textured yarns capturing the appearance of linen and wool but woven in 100% polyester, Homespun is complex yet casual drapery suited to how we live in this part of the world.
The fabrics in James Dunlop’s Homestead collection are inspired by our deep connection to the environment, pulling reference from the outdoors in via texture and colour. Experience the colours of New Zealand’s lush fiords, snow-capped mountains, and rolling hillsides.
Fleece explores our symbiotic relationship with the land. Inspired by the abundance of sheep roaming our vast plains, this tactile upholstery replicates New Zealand’s revered woollen fleece in a 100% synthetic composition.
