BENU RUMBA RECYCLED is a very special soutache embroidery. The cotton-like base fabric is actually made from 100% recycled polyester. The chenille yarn of the soutache embroidery is also made from recycled polyester. Only the space dyed yarn which wraps around the chenille core to varying degrees, is made from conventional PES. This results in the overall composition of 87% rec. PES and 13% PES. The fine colour gradients of the yarn are produced using a special dyeing technique, making every meter unique. The wrapping of the chenille yarn results in soft and smooth areas, matt and shiny sections in the embroidered surface. The result is a sophisticated, lively surface that perfectly matches the sweeping, organic design. Available in 7 colours.
