The Verdure Tapestries are famous for their use of luxuriant landscapes. Produced by the Gobelins or Beauvais weavers from the 16th century, they have been reinterpreted on a jacquard, woven using five yarns to evoke an idealised vision of nature, in a range of muted tones. Made in Belgium, “Verdure” is extra-wide and uses an infinite number of shades to create depth and contrasts in vert, taupe, pierre bleue et orange brulée. SOLD PER METRE.
