New Zealand Design Pavilion | Nodi

With an obsession for simplifying and looking at things in their raw, essential form Nodi focuses on what the essence really is. It’s this thinking that translates into highly curated, thoughtful floor coverings.

Nodi | Tassled Wool

Established in 2015 by textile designer Olivia Moon, Nodi was founded on the desire to create something meaningful that would evoke connections between people, their environment, and the planet. In her quest to perfect natural rugs, Olivia spent several years in Milan, India, and Sydney before launching Nodi, specialising in hand spun rugs crafted exclusively from natural fibres.

Made from New Zealand and Himalayan wool as well as sustainability sourced jute from West Bengal, Nodi’s intrinsic connection to nature is imperative to how the brand identifies in a space that is dominated by plastic.

Nodi believes in mindfully creating environments that are wellness focused, positive, healthy spaces, not only for the planet but for the people using the space. Lovingly handmade in Goodweave factories in India, Nodi’s range of elevated floor coverings are built to transcend trends, sustain longevity, and project and support those who create the product.

Collaboration is at their core, working with both clients and a design team to create something special that is made to last while only producing what they need.
