Coming from the French word; to glimmer or glisten, Luire sees elongated strokes stretching across the fabric reminiscent of intermittent light glistening over water. The hand painted strokes offer a modern interpretation of a traditional ikat dye where colours are organically interspersed across the natural linen blend ground. Digitally printed in the UK with superior EcoFast ink, Luire is suitable for light duty residential upholstery and drapery, with a textural slub and softly tumbled hand.
Offered in 3 subtle and bold colourways, Raffia plays on the subtlety of neutral tones, while Emerald injects a piercing jewel-tone green, and Dusk combines a rich amethyst set against lake blue.
