The word Bogolan means “from the earth”. To begin a simple cotton cloth is traced with symbols and shapes in clay. The colours come from natural dyes: birch, indigo and grape skins. This African fabric, with large geometric patterns, has inspired Casamance to create this digitally printed panoramic wall panel. This panoramic wall panel coordinates with the Mahlangu fabric.
