On walls, KASANE has the appearance of a natural material, resembling the look of raffia. The folded and woven paper fibres create a herringbone pattern in a range of six colors. For some the yarns have been dyed before weaving, resulting in deliberating contrasting shades; others are piece-dyed giving the chevrons a uniform color. Sold per metre.
